BLACKWOOD – The China-Russia Reversal: Why Is China Growing Faster Economically and More Stable Politically will be the topic of a presentation on April 10 at Camden County College.

Dr. Harley Balzer, an associate professor of government and international affairs and an associate faculty member of the Department of History at Georgetown University, will present the lecture. Dr. Jack Pesda, director of the Center for Civic Leadership and Responsibility and a professor of history at Camden County College, is organizing the event. The lecture will be held at 7 p.m. April 10 in Civic Hall inside the Connector Building on the Blackwood campus. Registration is required.

Pesda said he “will do the introductions of the guest speaker and approximately 150 people will be attending this event, which will consist of public school teachers, out of school adults, and students. The lecture will be about 50 minutes followed by a Q&A.”

Pesda said he organized the event because “this topic is of great interest to the public and the purpose of this event is an opportunity to learn about an interesting subject from experts in the field and in regard to teachers to provide them with information they can use to enhance their classes.”
